I was going to eat here Sunday April 7th but they were closed. Then I saw a sign that said they were going to be closed for a week. Today Tuesday April 16, 2024, now over a week since I saw that sign, it was still closed. This time there was a sign that said something to the effect to all our loyal customers, after 20 years it has come to an end. I didn't get out of my car and I was not that close so I didn't read everything. But from what I thought I saw and read on the sign on their door, I guess this place is closed. I think I didn't want to get out of my car and read it carefully, because I want to think it is not closing. Then as I was on Hesperian driving away, there was a banner on the side of restaurant facing Hesperian and it was advertising a buffet during lunch so I was not sure if they had buffets during lunch as I had not dined there for lunch and I don't remember seeing it when I went for dinner a few weeks ago. The drawing of the food on the sign looked like Asian Food. I am bummed, it was my go to sushi place, so I will miss it. Well I came back again today to read the sign .

Just a clarification on the last review. The $60 was for two dinner bento boxes and it was unagi for me and lamb for my friend.

This is my spot for sushi in Hayward. The rolls I get are consistent and they have a salad that is huge, a good bang for your buck. They have seating at the sushi bar, booths and tables. They have their private parking lot and offer beer and sake. Service is good and it's a good spot for a date, a girls' night or family outing. I will def be back. Review #95 of 100 in 2023.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Lots of parking and the place is huge so choice of tables. Service is quick and efficient. As usual, had the teriyaki chicken bento. Came with miso soup, salad, gyoza, California roll and rice. Everything tasted good, good amount of chicken and the teriyaki sauce was good. Overall, a nice, OK experience. We'd come back.

This is my family's go to sushi place. There is never/rarely a wait. Sushi is good and there are many options. I wasnt a fan of the misoyaki sea bass as it was dry, but our always go to order are: Super California roll, assorted sashimi & they never disappoint.

Ordered twice from this place so thought it was time for a review. Gotta say both times have been consistent. Good food and fast service. Ordered the spicy tuna, along with several other assorted sushi platters. Also had the tonkatsu which was pretty dang good! Highly recommended and will repeat!

My mom and I used to come here quite often for Japanese food and I wanted to go for the memories.The people there are quite friendly and the view from the restaurant during sunset is incredible. I was so sad when I heard that their seafood steam egg cups were discontinued because that was my favorite item from them. I feel like the portion size of the dishes are smaller than before. Maybe because everything is more expensive now :(
